Hanging your records on your wall

If you're looking for a simple way to spice up a wall in your apartment with vinyl album covers, there's a great guide over at Instructables. Here's how it works:

By using a low-cost, plastic tile trim (available at hardware stores / Home Depot / or here), you can create a series of horizontal rows across your walls. Once installed, you simply slide the records into the rows.

Pretty straightforward and probably the cheapest way to get your albums on the wall. Click here to view the full guide.

Have an interesting way that you display your vinyl in your house?

Let us know about it in the comments!

There are also LP frames http://www.albumframes.com/ - sold at Target, CB2, anywhere that sells frames these days. I've seen them for $10 - $12

Nice to know about the plastic tile trim so you wont ruin the covers of the albums by *taping* them to the wall. Good stuff.

I would still want to be able to access them if needed without taking everything down.
That's the problem I have with the frames. (besides the $$)

Totally agree. There's got to be a better way. I'm heading to hardware store today to see if I can come up with something.

I think this is a great idea. Will probably do it, the only problem I have is sunlight, my only real free wall gets most direct sunlight. Any ideas on how to solve that?
